We have several techniques to remove overspray depending on the situation, but the most effective that we have found is a rubberized overspray block. These blocks float across the paint with a special lubricant and it picks up the overspray without the use of harsh chemicals; which can dry out your paint. We only use chemicals as a last resort because it can dry out the surfaces of your car including rubber, plastic, and paint. If your car is damaged by a paint contractor you should make the contractor aware of this as soon as possible and he can then make an insurance claim. Let me introduce myself. My name is Scott Hersh and I own BumperTechs. I have been in the auto reconditioning business for over 30 years. I am very experienced, and am always in the lookout for the newest and latest products available in the market.
When it comes to automotive reconditioning, I can do it!. It started out as a hobbie when I was very young, and I continue to be just as happy and interested as I was in the beginning. I simply love what I do. It makes a difference.
I do not sub-contract, nor do I hire cheap, seasoned helpers. All the work is performed by me, at the customer’s residence, or business, along with my lovely assistant Maria, who has been my only apprentice for the past few years, as I relocated in Tampa Bay. I am originally from Ohio.

We are experts at the fine art of polishing bright work. We have experience in polishing everything from Aluminum to Stainless Steel. The damage that these little bugs can make in your vehicle if not removed quickly, and properly is permanent. We clean and protect your vehicle with a new nano clearcoat which is 300% more chemical resistant than most factory clears. If you do not have love bug damage we have a protective coating that will not allow these bugs to eat through your automotive parts. If your car is not protected, then the love bugs should be removed as soon as possible to prevent damage from occuring. Waxing your car will slow down the damage but will not stop it. Instead of the usual waxes that most people use, we add a polymer sealant which last much longer, and will not melt as quickly as wax products do.
