Many times cars are damaged by overspray and the owners are unaware of it until the car is washed or detailed. Overspray is usually caused by careless paint contractors. Depending on the kind of paint they were using and the severity of the overspray can determine the cost of repairing this damage. Latex and water based paints are usually easy to remove but the opoxys and enamels can be very difficult to remove. We have several techniques to remove overspray depending on the situation, but the most effective that we have found is a rubberized overspray block. These blocks float across the paint with a special lubricant and it picks up the overspray without the use of harsh chemicals; which can dry out your paint. We only use chemicals as a last resort because it can dry out the surfaces of your car including rubber, plastic, and paint. If your car is damaged by a paint contractor you should make the contractor aware of this as soon as possible and he can then make an insurance claim. Also your car may be covered under your comprehensive insurance if you are not aware of when your car was damaged. Many times the cost of removal is less than your de-ductible and no need to turn in a claim. Bumper Techs has much experience in OverSpray Removal and has worked with many companies who have had overspray damage. We have removed overspray from Cars, Trucks, Boats, RV’s and Aircraft.

Florida Sun Deteriates New Plastic Headlights within a couple years….Many of these headlights cost $200-$500 a piece not including labor…. The reason that headlights start to fog is because the clear coat coating applied at the factory begins to degrade…Many of our competitors remove this coating and polishes up the lens to a clear finish but do not reapply a protective coating…. If a protective clear coat is not applied… the lens will start to deteriate in months… needing re-polishing… BumperTechs applies a factory like clear coat to the lens after they are polished allowing us to give up to a three year warranty…. We also have a supplier for after market headlights for broken, leaking, and usually the cost of replacement is less than half of the dealers OEM headlights and can be replaced at your home or office… Prices start at $49.95 a set…
We also offer many more services such as full detailing, bumper repair, leather repair, vinyl and plastic repair, alloy wheel repair, and much more…
