Let me introduce myself. My name is Scott Hersh and I own BumperTechs. I have been in the auto reconditioning business for over 30 years. I am very experienced, and am always in the lookout for the newest and latest products available in the market.
When it comes to automotive reconditioning, I can do it!. It started out as a hobbie when I was very young, and I continue to be just as happy and interested as I was in the beginning. I simply love what I do. It makes a difference.
I do not sub-contract, nor do I hire cheap, seasoned helpers. All the work is performed by me, at the customer’s residence, or business, along with my lovely assistant Maria, who has been my only apprentice for the past few years, as I relocated in Tampa Bay. I am originally from Ohio.
This ensures two things…Quality of work, and trustworthiness. Not only your vehicle will be safe with us, so will your belongins left inside your car. Believe us, we have some stories.
I have a State of the Art truck fully equipped and self contained to handle all different types of repairs.
I carry a full German Engineered Paint System, and computarized paint formulation software to match any paint color on any given vehicle.
I have been very fortunate to have gained the trust and confidence of all my customers, and I am proud to say that they are all just as loyal and entrusting to us.

We offer free estimates. We usually suggest that you forward a picture of the damage in your vehicle to my email address, and I shall respond promtly with a quote, if possible, and a follow up phone or email to discuss the future work.
My prices are fair and accurate, and for the most part, way cheaper than if the work was to be performed by a regular bodyshop. That is why I keep my business small, and with low overhead. Thus, the quality is always the best that it can be.

We are experts at the fine art of polishing bright work. We have experience in polishing everything from Aluminum to Stainless Steel. We have polished tanker trucks, aircraft, boats, wheels and rims on cars, custom motorcycles, and more. Polishing these surfaces is very labor intensive. We have a product that can be applied after the metal is buffed to a mirror shine and will prevent oxidation from forming up to a year and then can be reapplied without the need of buffing or repolishing.
Splash and Dashing is a high end mobile detailing company using the finest products and materials from such companies as Zaino, Classe, Autoglym, and many other European products. We have tested thousands of products and have picked what we feel to be the best available on the planet. These products will withstand the high heat and humidity in southern Florida and keep your car looking new for years to come. We are not a car wash, but a detailing company. It takes us an average of 4 to 6hrs to clean your car. It takes our competitors only 2hrs. Their service is basically more of car wash detail than an intensive cleaning that we do at Bumper Techs.
